Event #3: Exploring Possible Building Code Reforms (Virtual)

A policy-focused virtual session where regulatory agencies and government officials explore building code reforms that could enable innovative and cost-effective housing construction. This dialogue is essential for identifying what legislative updates may be needed to support long-term change.

Event #4: Event #4 – On-Site Visit: ICF-Built Home
Date: Friday, August 29, 2025

An on-site tour of a home built with Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF), offering participants a hands-on look at this resilient and energy-efficient building method. Learn how ICF can reduce costs and improve performance in tropical environments like the Virgin Islands.

The capstone event of the campaign, this full-day summit brings together the public and professionals to showcase innovative housing solutions, present findings from previous sessions, and offer product demonstrations. Student apprentices will also present off-grid residential designs, highlighting the next generation of homebuilders and problem-solvers.
